Elia - School founder & Director
Originally from Valencia, Spain, Elia has been working in Montessori education since 2017. With a strong academic and AMI Montessori background, as well as experience in AMI schools across Europe, she now leads Biznaga Montessori, driven by the belief that a more human and respectful approach to education is possible. She holds a Master's Degree in Montessori Pedagogy (0–6), an MBA in Montessori School Leadership, and Bachelor's Degrees in Early Years Education and Social Studies. She is AMI-certified as both a 0–3 and 3–6 Guide and Assistant, a Certified Positive Discipline Educator, and is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English.
Mar - Children's House Guide
Originally from El Puerto de Santa María, Spain, Mar holds an MA in Montessori Pedagogy (0–6) from the Universitat de Vic in collaboration with the Montessori Institute of San Diego, as well as a BA in Early Years Education from the University of Granada. She is an AMI-certified Guide for both the 0–3 and 3–6 age groups and has three years of experience as a Children's House Guide in an AMI school in Querétaro, Mexico. She is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English.
Rebecca - Children's House Assistant
Originally from Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, England, Rebecca holds both a BA and an MA in Spanish and English Literature from the University of Edinburgh and has earned a TEFL Certificate. She is currently completing her AMI 3–6 Assistant training. Rebecca has five years of experience working with children aged 3–6 in AMI Montessori schools. She is a native English speaker and fluent in Spanish.
Leticia - Toddler Community Guide
Originally from Málaga, Spain, Leticia holds a BA in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Málaga and is also a Higher Technician in Early Childhood Education. She is an AMI-certified 0–3 Guide and an AMI-certified 0–3 Assistant. In addition, she is a Certified Positive Discipline Educator through the Positive Discipline Association (PDA). Leticia has six years of experience working with children aged 0–3 in AMI Montessori schools. She is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English.
